      Hyperoptic

      Hyperoptic

Hyperoptic offer high-speed Fibre-to-Premises broadband to a limited number of UK households.

      Recent reviews:

      • Install was only to the nearest plug socket near the front door. Wireless signal cuts out intermittently. Ended up buying a cable to stop problem.

        Overall Satisfaction: 8/10

      • We decided to switch provider as our old provider was charging us a lot more after the initial contract. The switch was quick and easy. We needed an engineer to come and install the Hyperoptic socket in our apartment, the whole process was very efficient (under an hour). We have been using Hyperoptic for 5 months now, haven't had any major issues except for a time when there was a temporary loss of connection in our building. Overall I'm satisfied with my choice.

        Recent reviews:

        • Annoyingly the switch was delayed because they asked if I wanted to keep my number for a second time, when I'd already said the week before I didn't. As a result I ended up with extra charges from my old provider as I didn't leave in time.

          Overall Satisfaction: 8/10

        • Switch was quick, and very happy with customer service. I'm mostly happy I'm saving money although I definitely think the speed is worse than with my previous provider.

          NOW Broadband

          NOW Broadband

NOW Broadband offers members affordable internet and TV-on-Demand bundled together in one handy package. Popular offers include streaming and on-demand TV passes for premium entertainment, sports, Sky and kids TV channels.

          Recent reviews:

          • I work from home. My old broadband connection wasn’t great. Even when I used ethernet cable it would drop out when I was using a lot of online apps at once, and slow down in the afternoons after the schools emptied out and on Sunday evenings. The difference with Now fibre broadband is massive. I use ethernet cable when I’m working and there’s no drop off or lag, video calling always works without interruption and there’s no drop off in speed when the schools kick out. I'm pleased with the service and Now also does good deals on sports passes etc. Recommended.

            Overall Satisfaction: 9/10

          • The switch went through painlessly. There was an initial issue in that the speed on my speed checker showed I was receiving less than the advertised speed, but Now Broadband dealt with this swiftly. I am now happy with my broadband which, for the same cost as my previous provider, offers almost double the speed.
