The best business broadband deals in June 2017 1

Provider: TalkTalk
Best Deal: Business Broadband Complete Fibre
Download Speed: 76Mbps
Upload Speed: 20Mbps
Details: 24 month contract, unlimited downloads, anytime calls, four static IP addresses, £57.99 up front for hardware and installation, £15 for broadband and £16.95 for line rental.

Average Cost: £41.87 a month, £502.44 a year.

Pros

With a massive 20Mbps upload speed, TalkTalk deliver one of the fastest upload connections on the market, which is vital for publishing multimedia online and hosting websites.

Four static IP addresses mean you can host up to four separate servers for internal and external use, such as dedicated email servers, FTP servers and multiple websites.

An anytime call package is also included, giving your business the flexibility to make full use of the phones at any time of the day without restriction.

Cons

At £502.44 a year with an upfront cost of £57.99, TalkTalk’s package is far from cheap, but it provides some of the best value for its impressively speedy connection.

Having four static IP addresses included certainly gives a lot of extra usability, but smaller businesses will have a hard time making use out of that many static IPs. For small businesses or sole traders, having a single static IP is usually sufficient.

Provider: Toople
Best Deal: Business Broadband
Download Speed: 24Mbps
Upload Speed: 1Mbps
Details: 24 month contract, unlimited downloads, 1 Static IP address, £49.98 up front for hardware and installation, £8.75 for first 3 months, then £17.50 a month.

Average Cost: £18.49 a month, £221.88 a year.

If you’re on a strict budget, Toople’s £221.88 a year broadband is pretty affordable for a decent download speed of 24Mbps.

This package includes one static IP address, which is ideal for hosting a dedicated work email server.

Cons

Although a 24Mbps download speed is perfect suitable for many businesses, a low upload speed of just 1Mbps is likely to cause issues.
