Sunday, 31 December, 2017

What kind of a year have we really had in 2017? These days, it’s easier than ever to get a global glimpse into the topics that have been preying on our collective minds.

This month, researchers at Google have released the results of their annual Google Trends analysis.

By looking at popular search terms around the world, they are able to build up a fascinating picture of what people are thinking in every corner of the globe.

In a year of deadly natural disasters, royal engagements, and political upheaval, billions of people have been turning to Google to help them understand the world around them.
